About Me

I began my teaching career at 21 and founded the first Suzuki School in Venezuela, where I taught piano and served as the school's administrator for many years. In 1986, I brought my expertise to the Minneapolis area, where I've continued to guide students of all ages — from young beginners to accomplished adult learners. With over five decades of teaching experience spanning two continents, I'm passionate about helping students develop not only a love for music, but also the persistence and perseverance needed to achieve their goals — in music and in life. My greatest strength as a teacher is my ability to understand individual needs, learning styles, and abilities — and to adapt my approach accordingly. Whether you're three years old or eighty-nine, whether you're a complete beginner or an accomplished player refining your artistry, I meet you where you are and guide you toward where you want to go.
